On September 12th, 2022, McKissick Academy's 2nd Grade Teacher, Ms. McKenzie Martin, was announced as the School District of Pickens County's Teacher of the Year. MAST, along with the City of Easley, honored Ms. Martin on Friday, September 16th, with a special parade as she arrived at school.
