The countdown is on! McKissick Academy of Science and Technology is excited to welcome students, families, and our community to the inaugural Shark Signing Day on Tuesday, July 14, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
This exciting outdoor event is designed to kick off the new school year with energy, connection, and purpose. Shark Signing Day is more than a back-to-school event. It is an opportunity for our entire school community to come together and begin the year united around our shared commitment to student success and our theme, "An Intentional Pursuit of Excellence."
Throughout the evening, students and families will have the opportunity to sign the official Shark Commitment, symbolizing their dedication to living out our SHARKS expectations by being Successful, Honest, Active Listeners, Respectful, Kind, and Solution Seekers throughout the school year.
Families will also enjoy an evening filled with activities, live music, food trucks, games, and opportunities to connect with members of the MAST leadership team, staff, and community organizations. Local businesses, churches, and community partners will be on campus offering family activities, resources, giveaways, and school supplies to help students start the year ready for success.
Whether you are a returning Shark family or joining MAST for the first time, Shark Signing Day is the perfect opportunity to meet other families, explore our campus, and celebrate the beginning of another incredible year together.
