McKissick Academy of Science and Technology is proud to announce that our school has been named a Semi-Finalist for the prestigious Palmetto’s Finest Award, presented by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA).
The Palmetto’s Finest Award honors schools across South Carolina that demonstrate excellence in student achievement, innovative programs, professional learning communities, and strong family and community partnerships. The application and selection process is rigorous, involving detailed evaluations, school visits, and interviews with staff, students, and families.
Being named a Semi-Finalist is a significant milestone that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and community. This honor reflects our shared commitment to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment where every child is known, valued, and challenged to grow.
In the coming months, MAST will continue through the next phase of the selection process as we strive toward being named one of South Carolina’s Palmetto’s Finest Schools.
