Prek has been learning different things about apples. They have been enjoying the apple wash station and learning the different parts of an apple with play dough.







Thank you to Women’s United for your partnership to allow us to have toddler time! Women’s United supplies us with copies of “The Button Book” by Sally Nicholas. The kids had fun interacting with the story and creating their own buttons. We would love for you and your toddler to join us next month at the the next toddler time, October 3rd, with Miss Cole reading “It’s Pumpkin Day, Mouse”.

Our first toddler time of the year kicks off tomorrow and we would love to see you tomorrow!


Congratulations to these 4th and 5th graders for making it into the 2023-2024 DES Chorus! Everyone sang beautifully at their auditions. We can’t wait to see and hear all the amazing things these talented Dolphins will do this year.






Mrs. G’s ELA class had a 2nd grade guest reader come today! The students enjoyed hearing a funny read aloud called More, Spaghetti 🍝, I Say!




Ms. Freeman’s class practiced making numbers with Play Doh!





Some of our 2nd grade students took the initiative to pick up trash on the playground. Great teamwork!


Ms. Schultz’s class practiced the Life Skill of tying your shoes today! We worked as teams to be sure everyone in the class was learning.
