An injured or ill child will be cared for temporarily by the school staff. If it is necessary, the parent will be notified. It is very important for us to know where a parent can be reached during the school day.The Student Information Sheet should be filled out very early in the school year. Please keep the teacher and the school office informed of any changes in your child's emergency information. Teachers should also be made aware of any medical condition concerning your child.

All medication (including aspirin) must be left in the office in the original bottle along with the current prescription permit. Medication will be given only upon written permission from the student's parent or legal guardian. Medication permission forms are available in the office or from the school nurse. All medications must be picked up on the last day of school. Medications not picked up will be destroyed.

The nurse will need a physcian's signature on all controlled medications and at no time should the parent send controlled medications to school with the students.
